Finding Uniquely Skilled People
As a building company that specializes in restoration and conservation we are often looking for uniquely skilled people. One of our recent projects was to restore a fabulous Canterbury Tudor building into an upmarket chocolate shop. For this project I was looking for traditional skills such as Tudor oak carpentry and lime and horsehair plastering.
Many of these ancient skills are lost or forgotten in today’s building industry and in the past have been difficult to trace. However, after a quick search of SkillPages I was able to source the expert tradespeople I needed from within the UK.
